Lesson 9: The Strength of Praise
In Matthew 21:12-16, after Jesus’ triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, He cleansed the temple and began healing people. While this was happening, children were boisterously crying out, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” In response to their complaint, Jesus quoted Psalm 8:2. From this quote, we learn an important truth about our praises to God.

Lesson 10: Necessary Edification
It may be that in our interactions with others we allow frustration and bitterness to direct our words and actions. Speech that we intend to address and discourage such behaviors instead makes matters worse, inflaming the behaviors we seek to address. Instead of helpful edification, we default to corrupt speech. In this lesson we learn to discern between corrupt speech and edification.
