Continuing our discussion of the importance of contemplation in prayer, we elaborate on the need to contemplate our own lives. Consider how God is working in our lives, but also areas where we may need correction and how we can bring our hearts closer to Him.

In the Parables Jesus describes what the kingdom is like. In Romans 14 Paul describes what the kingdom IS. How do we identify what is the kingdom of heaven today?
Our hope in the great and precious promises of God help to anchor our souls through the storms of life. What are those promises? What is our inheritance in Christ?
Is confessing our sins something Christians should be doing? The Bible pattern teaches us, yes. And the apostle John also instructs us to in Christ in 1 John 1:9.
