Jesus taught a great deal about the character and quality of people who belong in His kingdom. In this sermon we discuss His teachings on who will enter His kingdom.
What does the word "church" mean? Is the church a building? Is it an organization? Is it a people? It is used to translate the Greek word ekklesia.
Through the Bible narrative God gradually develops the imagery of an eternal kingdom that would be given eternal, universal dominion. The Messiah would be the king.
By what standard do we measure greatness? Jesus says the greatest of all will be the servant of all. To enter the kingdom, we must become humble as a child.
What does it mean to be quick to hear and slow to speak? A study of James 1:19 where we are taught to give priority to listening and learning before speaking.

Jesus was moved by compassion when He encountered the sick, the suffering and the sinful. He manifested God's love by acting on that compassion with acts of mercy.
Jesus reveals the love of God as expressed in the life of a man. He shows how God's love is compassionate toward the suffering, sinfulness, and pain of mankind.
