Finally, being ready to give an answer involves not only the words we use, but how we express them. In “meekness and fear.”

In the final lesson of this series, how do we apply apostolic traditions as way of life, making room for Christ to grow in us, and draw us closer to God?
What is necessary edification? What is the Christian’s responsibility to edify others with our speech? To edify others with our speech should be our purpose.
In Lesson Two of our study on how to pray, we discuss how Jesus’ teachings the Sermon On the Mount encourage simplicity and genuineness in prayer.
Apostolic traditions help us grow more like Christ. Sometimes, we hit a road block. Worldly care begin to choke out our best intentions for spiritual growth. How do we overcome them?
In Eph. 4:29, Paul admonishes us to not allow any corrupt word come out of our mouths, but what is good for necessary edification. Reminder, what is corrupt speech?
In Lesson One of our study on how to pray, we explore the prayer life and practices of Jesus and what we learn about prayer from Him.
A closer look at the traditions taught by the apostles in every church. " Paul describes as "his ways" taught "everywhere in every church" (1 Corinthians 4:17).
As children cried out in the temple, "Hosana in the highest," Jesus quoting "prepared strength" as "prepared praise," implying the two concepts are related.
The Holy Spirit inspired traditions to be taught among God’s people. The apostles also warned against human traditions based on philosophy and worldly principles.
In Christ we are redeemed by His blood. In this life, our aim is that He may live through us. Can we say by our current behavior that "Christ lives in me"?
Having sanctified Jesus as Lord, giving an answer also requires the ability to verbalize what is our hope in Christ. We remind ourselves of the gospel every day.
We are not called to a "holier than thou" mentality. Rather, we are called to perfect the holiness God creates in us through Jesus Christ, by His Holy Spirit.
God’s grace for sound speech includes our ability to speak of our hope in the gospel to those who ask. What it means to sanctify Christ as Lord in our hearts?
Continuing our discussion in the danger not guarding our mouths and pointlessly multiplying our words. We consider why the words of the fool are so destructive.
Having discussed the "Mouth of the Righteous," we look to God's warning about speaking without a filter. The Probers say that the fool is known by this many words.
