Sermon: Matthew 6:10
Your Kingdom Come
Jesus preached that the kingdom of heaven was "at hand," and told the Jews that the kingdom was "in your midst." Yet, the kingdom was not established until Jesus was glorified and the Holy Spirit given in Acts 2:32-33. Finally, we are taught to look forward to the great and glorious appearing of the kingdom. Has the kingdom come? Are we waiting for a future revealing of the kingdom? Should we pray, "Your kingdom come”? In this lesson we discuss the Bible's answers to these questions.
In Psalm 19:14, the words of the mouth and the meditation of the heart are worship. Can contemplation with prayer to help us draw our hearts closer to God?
This life comes with many trials. By God's grace, we can not only to survive, but obtain victory in Jesus. We introduce this series and and discuss our approach.
We continue our study on the salt of the earth and light of the world. From these analogies, Jesus goes on to say that He came to fulfill the law. What does it mean?

Jesus describes the effect those who strive for the qualities in the beatitudes will have on the world. They are the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
The church is the body of Christ and we are individually members of one another. How should our personal devotion to Christ affect our work in the local church?
In Christ we draw near to God through Jesus’ sacrifice. By Him we offer our sacrifices- the fruit of our lips—praising and giving thanks. Sacrifices God desires.
Where does prayer belong in the life of a believer in God? How do we begin pursuing a life of prayer? What first steps can we take to pursue prayer in our lives?
In the teachings of Jesus, we now turn our attention to His sermons. In the sermon on the Mount, Jesus provides a foundation for our lives and a portrait of God.
Learning to pray is about seeking God. Sin separates us from God and willfully continuing causes Him to not hear. Instead, we should seek God with our whole heart.
When we known we need to change, what stops us from doing it. Paul describes the battle between our flesh and our spirit. Jesus provides the spiritual victory.
Paul instructs Titus to be a pattern of sound speech that cannot be condemned. His letter also instructs on the correlation between sound speech and our behavior.
In the final lesson of this series, how do we apply apostolic traditions as way of life, making room for Christ to grow in us, and draw us closer to God?
In lesson two of our study on prayer, we discuss the simplicity taught by Jesus in the Sermon in the Mount. It's not many words, but earnestness and sincerity.
