Sermon: Walking by Faith
2 Corinthians 5:7
Walking by faith mean longing for and living for the "things which are not seen" (2 Cor. 4:18). In this lesson we explore Paul's teachings on what it means to "walk by faith."
James 5:16 says the effective fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. What does a righteous person look like? The epistle of James contains the answer.
Hebrews 11:6 says that he who comes to God must believe that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. How does "reward" work in concert with grace?
In the sermon in the Mount Jesus teaches on practicing our righteousness. He identifies the practices that, when done to be seen by God in secret, God rewards openly
